☞ INTRODUCING: Tian at Riverbank State Park
A reader mentioned that they had dropped by the restaurant that replaced the River Room for Salsa night on Tuesday and recommended the new Latin-Asian fusion restaurant. The eatery Tian is located at Riverbank State Park and one has to traverse over a walkway from Riverside Drive at 145th Street to get to it but they apparently have some great deals such as $10 lunch specials during the week. There seems to be a Vietnamese edge to the Asian inflection since Banh Mi sandwiches and Pho soup have appeared on past lunch menus according to Yelp: LINK. The eatery is pretty quiet during the cold months but the river front location probably makes it ideal for a day trip to the park on the west side as the weather gets warmer. Brunch service looks to be an all American affair: LINK
