☞ EAT: Other Final Finishes at Harlem Tavern
The new post lamps have arrived in the open space of the Harven Tavern but the final styling is slightly off from the original rendering. In the past couple of weeks, the outdoor flooring finished up without the herringbone tiling and now the posts seem to have more of a colonial feel to them. These actually match the wall sconces in the background but differ from the Beaux Arts globe lights originally planned (lower image). Anyhow, this appears to be the last of the design elements and the tavern just needs to actually open. Based on their Facebook site, a Friday opening will not happen but the new eatery at 116th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard should definitely debut before June 25th.

Love the french doors
ReplyDeleteI think they are doing a fantastic job and whenever they open I think they will be a huge hit!!
ReplyDeleteLooks pretty bare without the umbrellas, but I'm sure they'll get those up in due course.
ReplyDeleteIf people complain about kids at Bier, whooo boy! This is certainly going to be full of families.
@gattopardo:
ReplyDeleteThis may work out for everybody.
Harlem Tavern can be the family friendly joint and Beir can be for the hardcore beer lovers.
