Wednesday, June 1st,  5:30 PM, Salsa at Taller Boricua, 1680 Lexington Avenue at East 105th Street.  doors open early at this weekly event that showcases various musical orchestras. General cover is $10 at the door: LINK

Wednesday, June 1st,  6:00 PM and 8:30 PM,  Adrift  kicks off the East Harlem Film Festival at The Poet's Den, 309 East 108 Street between First and Second Avenue.  The Brazilian film Adrift starring Vincent Cassel will be the first feature of this inaugural film event.  More information and $12 tickets may be purchased online: LINK
