☞ EAT: Another Look at Boulevard Ice

The promotional video for Boulevard Ice at 2490 Frederick Douglass Boulevard by 133rd Street was just sent in to us and the place was really packed yesterday with folks looking for a quick ice cream flavored ice fix. Apparently there's a secret vault in the back that has basketball stuff or something since the pop-up shop is sponsored by Nike.  One serving is only $1 and offerings include quirky flavors such as bubble gum and sour apple.  The old fashion ice cream shop is a big PR push by the sports purveyor but we could not get any information on exactly how long it will stick around (all summer according to the video). Hours are Tuesday-Sunday from 11:00 AM-7:00 PM for the rest of the season.

  1. Hey, here is some information on the shop from a sneaker blog

They report that the ices are from the Lemon Ice King of Corona. That's good.

apparently, there is a truck too

  2. I'm not getting the connection between ices and sneaks but maybe it's just me.
