☞ READ: 2056 Fifth Avenue Sells Out
The adaptive reuse development at 2056 Fifth formerly known as Rhapsody on Fifth has sold out according to an article posted on Curbed yesterday: LINK. Four of the remaining units have been bought in an all-cash deal for $483,668 each which is quite a discount from the $690K-$950K asking prices. Apparently a Canadian investor made the deal and buying in cash definitely helps one in the negotiating process. Before the Canadians arrived, this buildings was actually originally built as a meeting hall for the large Finnish society that used to live uptown in the early part of the 20th century. Check out our past post for an old archival photo: LINK

ReplyDeleteWord is that the buyer is possibly going to re-sell them through Corcoran Realty.
