☞ SHOP: Red Storefronts Trend in Harlem
Now that the new bistro called Cedric has finished up its facade on St. Nicholas Avenue and 119th Street, it appears that the color red is the accent of choice for new Harlem establishments. It all started with the Red Rooster at Lenox and 126th Street in the past year, then the Harlem Tavern this past month and Cedric has followed accordingly with the crimson color theme. We like the bright hue since any color attracts the eye but some turquoise, yellows, oranges or bright greens would also be a nice change going forward. Striped awnings are also a classic element that gets used downtown often but does not have many modern counterparts uptown. Read more about newcomer Cedric in our past post: LINK
