Wednesday, August 10th, 7:00 PM, VASHAWN MITCHELL at Marcus Garvey Park. Chicago native VaShawn Mitchell has made noteworthy contributions to the Gospel music scene that have defined and impacted churches and gospel communities nationwide.

Thursday, August 11th, 7:00 PM, RYAN LESLIE at Marcus Garvey Park. Channeling musical talent from an early age, Ryan Leslie went from Harvard grad to music mogul. He rose to stardom in the music industry as a producer and songwriter with a mix of industry heavy hitters such as Beyoncé, LL Cool J, Britney Spears, and, notably, Cassie on “Me&U,” which went to number one on the R&B charts.

Friday, August 12th, 7:00 PM, FORCES OF NATURE DANCE THEATRE / THE DASH ENSEMBLE at Marcus Garvey Park.  Hip-Hop Master Class with Theresa Lavington at 7:00 PM.  Performance at 8:00 PM by Forces of Nature Dance Theatre and The Dash Ensemble.

Saturday, August 13th, 7:00 PM CECILIA MARTA DANCE COMPANY with FRANCINE E. OTT/THE WALK at Marcus Garvey Park. Dance Master Class by Camille A. Brown at 7:00 PM with 8:00 PM Performance by the Cecilia Marta Dance Company.
