Saturday, August 13th from 12:00 Noon-5:00 PM,
129United! Summer Festival at 129th Street between Lenox and ACP/7th Avenue. Those who want to meet the neighbors (or maybe inquire on how to get a block association together) should check out this one day Festival which will include fun exercise workshops, nutritious multi-cultural food tastings, health screenings, a kid’s pavilion, and a performance stage featuring a gospel choir, motivational speakers, spoken word and more. Additionally, the Food Bank, WBLS, Trader Joe's, Costco Honest Tea, Chill Berry, and Coca Cola will all be handing out samples of various healthy products.

An all volunteer led block association dedicated to valuing diversity as a source of strength and a model for other parts of Harlem. The mission is to promote wellness: healthy eating, exercise, preventative healthcare measures, and to connect residents to local and city-wide community resources.
