☞ REMEMBER: The Masonic Temple on 155th
The William McKinley Masonic Temple at 454 West 155th Street was built around 1925 so the archival photo at top must have been taken around this time. Today the building that resides between St. Nicholas Avenue and Amsterdam still stands at this most north fringe of Harlem but is now called the Prince Hall Grand Lodge as one can see in the current image. Anyone remember the "Chinese" Take out call "Fat Mans" on the corner of St Nick. Their food was Greasy and Good.
