☞ REMEMBER: Sugar Hill Circa 1938
The above photo taken in 1938 shows Sugar Hill on the right and a very newish looking Colonial Park down below. Today, the view is pretty much the same except that the trees are much taller and some of the buildings to the left are now new condos. Colonial Park was also renamed Jackie Robinson Park in honor of the baseball great back in 1978 which was six years after the legend's passing. Photo via NYPL
