☞ INTRODUCING: A Little Gold at Cedric
We are always looking for artisanal elements to the new shops opening uptown and Cedric has just added gold accents to their window signage. The French bistro called Cedric just debuted in the past month on St. Nicholas at 119th Street and the final touches appear to have been put in place by adding some gold outlines to the crimson lettering above the door entrance. Gold lettering for store shops has been around for over a century and the Red Rooster along with 5 and Diamond have all added this decorative touch to Harlem in the past year. Check out our past post on artisans that are based on Sugar Hill that specializes in this technique called verre eglomise: LINK

imo 'The 5 and Diamond' is the best design, but they all add class to their establishments and are well worth the effort.
