☞ REVIVE: 5 West 120th Gets Glassed

The shell at 5 West 120th Street was purchased about a year ago for $700k and now it appears that some major progress has been happening on the formerly abandoned SRO brownstone.  Permits filed show that the 20 foot wide townhouse will now be converted into a 4-family abode and the building was mostly being gutted in the past year.  Tourists are often seen on walking tours to visit the neighboring house to the right at No. 3 West 120th for this was the childhood home of Richard Rodgers and future sightseers should be pleasantly surprised that this north block of the Mount Morris Park Historic District has finally been fully restored.
