BIG.SHADE.TREE, the online destination for diverse-inspired independent movies and documentaries, is proud to present the second movie feature of its The Big.Shade.Tree. Film Salon Series. Written and directed by Barry Jenkins, Medicine for Melancholy is a love story of bikes and one-night stands told through two African-American twenty-somethings dealing with the conundrum of being a minority in a rapidly gentrifying San Francisco. The film salon meets once a month to watch and discuss independent films. Guests from all over the country can chime into the conversation following each film via Facebook and Twitter. The Salon Series is FREE and open to the public. Join Nectar for Happy Hour at 6:00 PM prior to the Salon Series. www.BigShadeTree.com
