It's the end of the year voting competition for the best new neighborhood over at the Curbed site and East Harlem is this year's contender. Harlem's FDB corridor won last year (thanks to the many readers who participated from this site) so can uptown make it two in a row? With the 5th Avenue section of East Harlem getting the Museum for African Art added, a mega shopping complex in development for East 125th Street and more luxury condos finishing up, East Harlem could be making big changes in the future.
