☞ REMEMBER: A Harlem Child's Bedroom c. 1912

A photo from 1912 shows a brownstone interior from Central Harlem that possibly belongs to a child.  Even though grown up decor such as an oriental rug and decorative wallpaper are in place, one can see some toys, a pet dog and a tricycle in the background.  That fireplace at 162 West 132nd Street does not look very child friendly but this was what heated up each room over a century ago for many homes.
