☞ REVIVE: Progress at 208 Lenox Avenue
The partially renovated townhouse just north of 120th Street at 208 Lenox Avenue was purchased by a new owner a year ago and now some of the final finishes are in place for the facade. A current photo taken this week (lower image) shows that all of the missing windows have been installed and the distinct stamped metal pediment has now been duplicated to match the neighboring townhouse. This stately abode is within the Mount Morris Park Historic District so it would make sense that the renovation would replicate the original designs elements for this building. DOB records show that this is an SRO conversion into a 3-family home. Check out our past post to see what this property sold for last year: LINK

Nice brickwork arches and matching windows.
ReplyDeleteI frequently walk past. Looks very nice indeed.
ReplyDeleteAwesome to see the renovations to finally reach the Avenues, and not just the side streets.
