☞ DWELL: 303 West 123rd Street Sold in January

One of the two side-by-side townhouses at 123rd Street and St. Nicholas Avenue have recently sold in January after being on the market for the past year.  Originally the property was listed for $2.875 million back in February 2011 with the option to buy one of the 17-foot-wide townhouses separately.

The ornate buildings which are both approximately 17 foot wide sit facing the rather austere police station and have some other issues to consider. Number 303 is a rented legal 3-family with a primary commercial space at the lower level which ended up hovering around a $1 million asking after a price reduction. Public records now show that the townhouse sold for $663,138 last month.  The location is right by a large parking lot but is close to all the new development in the South Harlem corridor.
