☞ READ: My Image Studios in the Times
The Times has a feature today on the new My Image Studios which is the multi-cultural theater and community space that will open at the Kalahari condos on West 116th Street. A restaurant will partly anchor the 20,000 square foot space which will also combine three theaters in hopes to attract film festivals, music events, theater and other cultural attractions. With a cost $21 million, this ambitious new space will be trying to turn a profit with ticket sales from around $15 to $35 for a typical showing. If all goes to plan, the My Image Studios should open this summer. Read more in the New York Times: LINK
