☞ REMEMBER: Morningside & 122nd circa 1959

An archival photo from 1959 shows what was most recently the Church of the Masters when it still stood back in the mid 20th Century.  The congregation in recent years was not able to maintain the crumbling building facing Morningside Park and eventually sold it off to a developer.  Today the new condo construction called 88 Morningside resides on this exact corner.

    The location is 122nd St and Morningside Ave.
    The ID associated with the photo is incorrect.

    One less church and more living space; no offense to churches but I rather have living space which brings more tax $$ and more revenue to Harlem.
