☞ INTRODUCING: Street Squash Class of 2013
Street Squash on West 116th Street is an amazing non-profit that introduces the sport to under-served students and also mentors them to improve their grades in school. The above video shows how the program has helped one Harlem student get inspired by the sport and a turned around his educational performance. All of the students that have completed the Street Squash program have been reported to have graduated high school and made their way to college so this is definitely one establishment worth supporting in the community. A young lady on my block attends this programme and I am just thrilled for her. Love to see her walking down the street with her squash racquet.
