☞ DWELL: 10 Jumel Terrace in Contract
Number 10 Jumel terrace went up on the market back in February for the asking price $1.999 million and the house located in Washington Heights went into contract last week. At 17.75-foot-wide along with 3,728 square feet of space, the impressive home's original woodwork and location by the picturesque Morris-Jumel Mansion block probably helped in attracting a buyer to the location right by 160th Street. This single-family townhouse is just north of Harlem's borders and the initial asking price is very similar to houses located much further south. More details and photos at the broker site: LINK

does anyone know the price?
ReplyDeleteWow, the wainscoating on the staircase looks like something in an Edvard Munch or Salvador Dali painting!
ReplyDeleteI live just around the corner and I can remember back in the mid 80's when those houses were going for $200,000.00 WOW how things have changed. But its a good area with celebrity neighbors. The downside is not much available in terms of amenities Being across from the MJM is nice and next to Sylvan Terrace and 555 Edgecombe with all its heyday history but one needs and desires decent markets, theatres, etc, all of which is sorely lacking in this nabe.
Delete^ what celebrities live there?
ReplyDeleteAlso, is there enough critical mass to open a cafe, coffee shop, restuarant?
When will this area break out? it really is nice.
