The Times reports that the National Black Theater will stay open indefinitely and has resolved its $10 million financial debt. A new owner has acquired the building on Fifth Avenue at 125th Street and has promised to keep the theater in its current place without charging any rent in the future. Read more in the Times:

Hopefully, now that NBT doesn't have eviction hanging over its head, the owners can be a bit more proactive.
ReplyDeleteAbout six or seven years ago they used to hold a monthly comedy show that was REALLY well recieved (had lines around the block regularly, if I remember correctly).
