☞ REVIVE: Giant Pod Debuts on Lenox

Back in February, the artist Montserrat Daubon had a public art proposal accepted by the city for a metal sculpture to be installed on the Lenox Avenue median by 124th Street in June and it has now arrived. This was helped out by Kickstarter project page that to raised the full $7,500 to complet the public piece of art.  The aged copper pod has been up since this past week and is now a permanent display just right above The Mount Morris Park Historic District.
