☞ DWELL: 315 West 126th in Contract

We have been following the construction of 315 West 126th Street in the past couple of years and now the 2-family building has gone into contract as of last week.  An original asking price was listed at $1.19 million last September and now the development has attracted an interested buyer.  This location is right behind the new commercial building currently under construction at 125th Street and FDB/8th Avenue so the formerly desolate block should become more lively in the next year or so.  Check out the interior photos on the broker site: LINK

Wow, that's ugly. Maybe even worse than the monstrosity on 129th just east of Fifth Avenue.

This website should start an awards program, with prizes for the nicest new designs and restorations, and razzies for dungheaps like this one.
