Harlem Food Bar's outdoor cafe opened up last month and the promised brunch service has now arrived at the new eatery just south of West 114th Street on FDB/8th Avenue. We walked by last Sunday afternoon and the saw that the South Harlem establishment was open for business during the day for the first time. Standard favorites such as the HFB burgers are mixed in with new offerings on the menu which include a red velvet waffle but folks should only expect a traditional Sunday brunch since this will be the only day thus far that the service will be available.
