☞ EAT: New Signs at Ambassades on Lenox
Back in the March, the second branch of Les Ambassades on Lenox and 127th decided to close down and change from a buffet into a full service restaurant. A Bespoke reader recently noticed that the new signage is now up at the yet-to-open eatery which basically removes all of the old exposed bulbs and replaces the lettering with a more contemporary look. It appears that buffets are another restaurant idea that Harlem might not need more of since the more formal establishments seem to be doing well at this part of upper Lenox and Les Ambassades is now following the success of the surrounding neighbors.

Pity about the sign
ReplyDeleteWise move for them to go with the model that is working on upper Lenox restaurant row, hope they do well. SM, agreed, shame about the sign.
ReplyDeleteThey look about ready to open soon.
ReplyDeleteI saw that the space has the bar and tables set up and they are taking food deliveries too.
The owner told me they're opening next week. There's a bar, lounge area and restaurant inside which will be serving Senegalese and French food.
ReplyDeleteI am so looking forward to the re-opening. I used to eat at the buffet at least 3x per week.
ReplyDeleteRan into Demba outside of the original Les Ambassades, and he says everything should be up this week? Can anyone confirm?
