☞ SEE: A West Harlem Viaduct on Film
Uptowners will recognize one major West Harlem landmark in a pivotal scene of the new Spider-Man moving coming out this week. The Riverside Viaduct at 125th Street on the far west side of Manhattanville was the set of one of the action shots in this summer's blockbuster and the Daily News today reviews all the key location filmed in the city. Mr. Parker hails from Brooklyn, so there are a lot of location scenes in that Borough but the most spectacular sequence happens here in Harlem: LINK

Peter Parker is actually from Queens (Forest Hills). The house that was used in the current film is located in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn which is doubling for Queens.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed the story, and thanks for sharing! I do love showing my Harlem nabe a little love.
