☞ DWELL: 736 St. Nicholas Avenue Off Market
Number 736 St. Nicholas Avenue first appeared on the market this year back in March but after a couple of price reductions, the house has been pulled off the market. The landmark townhouse in the Sugar Hill Historic District of West Harlem first arrived with the asking of $1.825 million and has since been reduced to $1.675 million. This 20-foot-wide townhouse located between 146th and 147th street is in a 3-family layout with generous proportions and was designed by a notable architect who was also responsible for the Flatiron Building downtown. The location is at one of the most architecturally interesting parts of West Harlem and is literally steps away from the express train but a contract seems to not have come about even with all the building's charms.
