☞ REVIVE: Progress at Harlem Children's Zone
It has been some time since we checked in on the construction of the new Harlem Children's Zone on 129th Street so we walked by the site this week to see how construction was coming along. This corner of Central Harlem located between ACP/7th and FDB/8th Avenue was a dead end cul de sac in the middle of a super block of housing project but will now be a fully functioning street in the future with a modern, high performing charter school. There was a bit of protest in the past but all is going to plan now and the school should open sometimes next September. Read more about HCZ in our past post: LINK

Great news! Cannot come soon enough to our neighborhood. We welcome more initiatives like this to keep our kids learning and off the streets!
