☞ SHOP: What's Up with SpaHa Cafe?
Bespoke readers on the east side have been pointing out that Spaha Cafe on Lexington and 116th Street has been shuttered for some time. The boutique cafe had a charming brown awning originally but switched to a bright green version in recent months and now the storefront appears to closed completely. We especially loved the interior decor and the sandwich selection at this East Harlem spot which only had a small seating area for guests. Does anyone have further information on the status of SpaHa Cafe?

Tika (the owner) told me yesterday that SpaHa Cafe will re-open soon (if it's not already re-opened). I stopped by yesterday on my way home after work because I noticed that the metal front doors were open. Happy!
