☞ SEE: Century Old Sign Concealed Once More
The old buildings torn down to make way for a new retail building at 125th and FDB/8th Avenue revealed a century old, hand painted sign next door but that will soon be concealed once more for maybe another century. This new commercial building just finished setting up steel beams on the 126th Street side of the development but this past week saw the 125th Street frontage rise. For those who are new to this blog, we have documented this corner for the past few years and the lower photo shows what it originally looked like before demolition started. Early century photos from a past post will be published again later on today.
