☞ SEE: A New Mural By the Corner Social
A new mural has appeared over by the Corner Social at Lenox Avenue and 126th Street. Street art was considered a nuisance to many a couple of decades ago but now most works seen around uptown are created by professional artist. This particular wall painting has bright hues that contrast nicely against the dark woodwork of the eatery and many of the Harlem's historical figures are incorporated within the piece. We are not sure whether the restaurant had anything to do with the added artwork but it is always a pleasant surprise to see artist at work on the streets of Harlem.
