Casa Frela Gallery on West 119th Street has approached Mount Morris Park's newest hardware store to start selling art supplies for local artists. Columbus Distributors just opened its doors on Lenox at the end of 2012 and will soon have local supplies for the art community uptown. For more on Casa Frela, check out the gallery's website:

A wise move, the art supplies are not just good for artists but also for brownstone renovators who sometimes require materials beyond the usual hardware store merchandise.
