☞ ARCHITECTURE: Inside the Hamilton Theatre
A couple of Bespoke readers have pointed out that the Daily News has some great inside photos of the Hamilton Theatre in West Harlem. The retail space on the lower floor has been used as a dollar store until recently but not many have seen what remains of the intact theatre just east of Broadway at 146th Street. Even more mysterious is what the developer who just purchased the building will ultimately do with the space. Nothing has really been revealed as far as future plans are concerned but it appears the ground floor is up for lease even though the building itself could use a little sprucing up. Check out the interior images in the Daily News: LINK

Walking by is always another opportunity to see how beautiful this building surely was years ago. I hope it is returned just as beautiful!
