☞ DWELL: The 419 West 145th Street Auction
We noticed some activity at 419 West 145th Street recently and it appears that the building will be up for auction by the State for $385K. Apparently the brownstone next to the church by the Sugar Hill Historic District was used as a government facility but we just noticed the construction netting on the oriel for past couple of years and assumed it was a negligent landlord who owned the building. Developers have been quick to purchase and flip properties without much improvement as of late so let's hope this one goes to a deserving family that can actually restore the building. More details on auction date and open houses can be found at this government site: LINK
