☞ QUESTION: Other Locations for a Food Truck?
The Wafels & Dinges Truck is doing well every Tuesday evening at FDB/8th Avenue by118th Street so we were wondering if there was another Harlem location that would benefit from having this specialty purveyor of Belgian wafels show up? Lenox Avenue around 125th Street comes to mind but does anyone have other suggestions that have a lot of foot traffic?

This is the border of Harlem I guess, but I've enjoyed the Korilla (korean burritos and tacos) food truck that often hangs out at 116th and Amsterdam. They seem to get a lot of Columbia foot traffic.
ReplyDeleteAlso 125th St. around St. Nicholas? (Where the ACBD stop is) - there isn't too much in the immediate neighborhood (which is part of why Maison Harlem has been so successful, I think) and I bet people would flock to a good food truck.
How about East Harlem along 116th street between 3rd and 2nd Avenues.
ReplyDeleteHow about the circle at 110th St. It gets a fair amount of foot traffic and overflow from Central Park.
ReplyDeleteHow about near the City College stop on the 1, there is always a lot of foot traffic
ReplyDeleteWe could use more food trucks in Harlem. How about the Big Gay Ice Cream truck? Or Korilla BBQ...so many but they are afraid to come uptown.
ReplyDeleteKorilla does come to 116 and Amsterdam (their "columbia" location) quite often! yum
DeleteI second 125th St. & St. Nicholas - we need more food options.
