Street fashion for men gets pretty casual on a hot summer day and a standard uniform has been in style for the past couple of years. While walking up Lenox Avenue this past week, we noticed the above gentleman sporting the requisite bright tank top, rolled up shorts and sneakers worn with socks. Backpacks have also been trending with the younger guys so this is also part of the overall look. We remember a time when socks worn with shorts were seen as a faux pas but this is totally acceptable now. The tank and short combo originally was popular with the fashionable hipster or skateboard set but the look has become quite mainstream for summer 2013.
