A Bespoke reader who lives on St. Nicholas Avenue inquired on what is the nearest subway station to the new Columbia University Manhattanville Campus since the first tower is now rising. As the photo shows, the elevated 1 Station at 125th Street is basically a block away and the tracks pass directly in front of the new building on the Broadway side. This first science tower designed by Renzo Piano is just one of the planned structures on site of the $6.8 billion campus in West Harlem. More details in our past post:
