The 21st annual Jazz at The Mansion, at the Morris-Jumel Mansion on 65 Jumel Terrace. Marjorie Elliot has been organizing free jazz concerts in her gracious Washington Heights apartment for almost 2 decades and will be performing with her various groups of jazz musicians at the Morris-Jumel Mansion this weekend. If you have not been to the historic estate just north of Harlem's borders, this is definitely the time to go. Bring a picnic basket, a blanket and enjoy!
The landmark mansion that George Washington used as his headquarters is located at 65 Jumel Terrace between 160th and 161st Streets. The nearest trains are the C at 163rd Street or the 1 at 157th Street.
