Another Strivers Row historic townhouse is on the market at the initial asking of $2.5 million. The 2-family home has a garage in the back instead of backyard which might be a plus since the area is still lacking some of the better businesses that have been arriving further south or west. With that said, the landmark neighborhood is one of the most breathtaking in all of Harlem and new establishements such at Yatenga and the more recently opened Mountain Bird have started to appear close by.
We do not recollect any of the properties breaking the $2 million mark in the historic Strivers Row neighborhood since the recession hit a few years back. In our opinion, if one of these homes has all of the original details and the proper contextual renovation to update the functional rooms, then that milestone most definitely could be reached in the near future.
