☞ BESPOKE: History of New York Graffiti at MCNY
City as Canvas Exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York, 1220 Fifth Avenue at 103rd Street. The new history of New York graffiti show has opened at the Museum of the City of New York in East Harlem and we were able to get out of cold to check out the small but fascinating collection. Some of the best photos of the exhibits are of all the old subway trains that have been tagged and the above image shows one ambitious artist working between two such vehicles. To our surprise, there were a few Keith Haring pieces on display which also included the icon's sketch book. More details on this exhibit can be found at the Museum of the City of New York site: LINK
