DWELL: 326 WEST 113TH STREET IN CONTRACT
The demand for townhouse by Morningside Park seems to be picking up with higher end buyers even though some of renovations are on the more moderate side. Number 326 West 113th Street has only been available for a couple of weeks and already has a contract out somewhere around the initial asking price of $2.999 million. A couple of years ago, a house would have to have renovations worthy of an interior design magazine spread and a great location for that price range but the address is really the main attraction here. With that said, we do like how the back of the brownstone looks (shown) but the front is rather uninspiring. This block on West 113th Street appears to be in a state of alteration that has diminished the historic look of the immediate neighborhood but buyers seem to be attracted to the notable location.
