INTRODUCING: AT THE WALLACE ON BROADWAY
UPDATE: HARLEM PUBLIC WILL BE THE MAIN RESTAURANT AND THE WALLACE WILL BE THE PUB ESTABLISHMENT OUT OF THE TWO.
Construction at the adjacent Harlem Public site has hit full steam and a poster on the plywood has now announced that At The Wallace is coming soon. When we briefly talked with one of the owners at Harlem Public a few months ago, it was mentioned that the new establishment by the corner of 149th on Broadway will be mostly a sit down restaurant and we got the sense that Harlem Public would then just become the main Pub it was intended to be. HP gets a little crowded sometimes for proper dining and the food is definitely some of the best in West Harlem. With that said, we are glad a more chill places is coming to the neighborhood (especially for all of the families) that are showing up these days and look forward to seeing what this new eatery is about.

So it turns out to be the opposite way around. Harlem Public still sounds like a bar name to us and At The Wallace sounds like a restaurant!
