We received a bit more information on Tsion Bakery which has announced an opening date sometimes in the middle of September 2014. Local residents by 149th Street in West Harlem should expect baked goods with Ethiopian, North African and Caribbean flavors for breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner. The owner plans to even grow some of the herbs for the offerings on site and will have a backyard garden open for diners also. Live music will be included in the mix which brings back this historic St. Nicholas Avenue space to it's jazz roots on Sugar Hill:
