ARCHITECTURE: REPETITION ON WEST 127TH STREET
The architecture on West 127th Street just west of St. Nicholas Avenue caught our eye on a recent visit since one of the buildings appear to be missing but the remaining structures are quite unique in their repetition. These pitched rooflines make a dramatic contrast against the sky but those arched window apartments at the lower level must also have quite unique views for the residents within. We were told that the aforementioned lot was already purchased by a developer so a new construction will arrive one day to replace what is currently missing. We just hope maybe something slightly contextual to this interesting row of buildings might go up one day but that would require a bit of extra thought and planning.

Interesting - any idea what might go up in that lot and when? Close to my apartment and I always walk by it.
