Number 417 West 141st Street finally has a contract out on the brownstone that has been off-and-on the market for $1.25 million since 2010. During the beginning of the recession years, the 4-family home on the hill facing St. Nicholas Park had issues selling but now that the market has turned around, this asking seems pretty reasonable. It only took about a couple of months this time to find a buyer since it was listed earlier in the year. With all that said, the interior only has minimal original details and some of the rooms have been oddly chopped up so work is needed to get house back to market price. Location wise, the express train at 145th Street is only 4 blocks away and this little brownstone is just around the corner from one of the best historic districts in the Manhattan:
