Harlem Bastille Day will launch for the first time on Sunday, July 13th and will be hosted by Maison Harlem. West 127th Street by St. Nicholas Avenue will be blocked off for the day and revelers can expect live music, a petanque field and the great Sugar Hill Market vendors. Maison Harlem is donating part of the proceeds for the day's brunch hour to the Global Language Project which supports bi-lingual learning within the city. Bastille Day is France's Independence Day but also a great way to celebrate Harlem's multi-cultural communities, local vendors and also a generating funds for a great non-profit by having brunch at one of uptown's best new restaurants.
