DWELL: HARLEM BROWNSTONES AT $2.3 MILLION
The average price for a Central Harlem brownstone has been hovering around just under $2 million in the past year but an aggressive market has now seen that number go up. Based on the 29 townhouses available on Streeteasy, homes are now averaging $2.3 million which is still a deal for Manhattan since this is basically $556 per square foot. This number is almost a third less than what the rest of the island is going for according to Zillow so maybe a shell for $1.3 million is not such an odd number: LINK
