REVIVE: MORE ACTIVITY AT P.S. 186
A Bespoke reader pointed out that things are starting to look very official at the abandoned P.S. 186 building at 145th Street these days. New signage up on the site has a rendering of the final design and announces that construction will finish up roughly in 2 years. As mentioned previously, there will be 78 residential units arriving along the corridor between Broadway and Amsterdam when things wrap up along with a community space within. Based on the new image of finished building, it looks like the historic building will be restored out front very accurately even down to the type of windows used. All of the financing finished up this month so things will move very quickly from this point on. That is, at least more quickly than the 20 years it took for this all to finally happen: LINK
