The designer hat store arriving on St. Nicholas Avenue and 121st Street has now placed a sign up in the window. Number 220 St. Nicholas Avenue had troubles starting up as a condo building in the past but a change in developers has since helped the new construction become one of the most successful market-priced rental building in South Harlem. We like the idea of having a hat boutique at this corner of the neighborhood but more of the building's other vacant spots need to be leased now to help make this new shop a destination. Openings in South Harlem have diminished over the past year and this might have to do with far reaching rent demands. Read more about 220 St. Nicholas in our past post:
